Weekend Update:Pageant Prep in Full Swing!

April 5th and April 6th 2025,

This weekend was a great mix of preparation and progress. First off I can officially say that I have all of my weekend outfits for Regional Canada pageant weekend!

I connected with my local Quilts of Valour representative and we’ve scheduled a coffee meeting for this week to talk about getting involved. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to represent my platform and make community connections.

I also spent time sewing. I'm trying to refine my technique and staying focused. And yes, I wore my pageant heels while doing it. Why not make break in my shoes any chance I get?

And to keep thing sharp, I practiced public speaking while sewing.

In other news I officially wore my sash for the first time in my community! I’m working hard on some upcoming projects! Details will be shared soon, but for now—stay tuned.
