This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of meeting with my local Quilts of Valour representative, Amy, at the veteran-owned Ottawa Valley Coffee ☕️✨. I treated myself to a delicious Petawawa Fog — highly recommend!

The warmth of our conversation truly highlighted the sense of community that Quilts of Valour Canada (QOVC) fosters ❤️. I left feeling inspired, connected, and even more committed to this incredible mission.

Receiving a Quilt of Valour is so much more than just a quilt — it's a heartfelt ceremony,

ree

where a veteran is surrounded by their circle of support — friends, family, and fellow service members. Whether it's a quiet moment or a larger community event, each presentation is a sincere expression of gratitude from Canadians 🇨🇦 — and is always personalized to the veteran’s wishes.

Exciting news!

Amy will be hosting a booth at the upcoming Pembroke Log Cabin Quilters Guild Quilt Show on Saturday, May 31st at the Petawawa Civic Centre!

She’ll be sharing more about the QOVC mission, how to sponsor quilts, and the many ways to get involved — it’s a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and support a meaningful cause ️.

Thank you, Amy, for your time, your passion, and the insights you shared with me — I’m so grateful for your leadership and look forward to future collaborations with Quilts of Valour!
