Hey everyone!
This week has been a whirlwind of excitement, prep, and reflection. It started with a fitting for my evening gown at KM Bridal, which looks stunning! The vision is coming together!
On Sunday, I judged the Petawawa Poutine Feast competition, and let me tell you, the Mexican street corn poutine was incredible!
Between public appearances, I poured my heart into my Empower Her Woman of Influence presentation. This version feels the most like me, and balancing all this with a busy work week with extended hours has been challenging but rewarding. I'm truly listening to my body and being able to recharge and rest between pageant prep and my career.
After submitting my Empower Her package, I took some much-needed rest ( I needed a solid two days).
However, I still found time to do the things I love Thursday night by attending a flower planter workshop and my sewing class (I'll be sure to share some pictures of the progress on my bug's wall hanging). My co-worker also gifted me a sourdough starter, so I have been having a lot of fun this long weekend making cinnamon buns and sourdough bread! 😋
By Friday, I was back at it with interview preparation, a beauty appointment, and a minor foot procedure to help my feet feel the most comfortable on the runway!
Oh, and a big shoutout, the voting for the People's Choice Award started on April 15th, and the polls close tomorrow at 11:59 PM. You can vote or share my posts to show your support!
