A forest fire consists of everything uncontrollable, chaotic, and dangerous. Forest fires, at times, are necessary to allow for a new season of growth. when it seems like the fire has taken everything away, we can remind ourselves that the embers and ashes will settle, the smoke will clear, and a new chapter will begin. Ashes nourish the soil to allow the flowers and trees to grow back even stronger and more resilient. The ashes from the fires in our lives spark a beginning where beauty thrives in the aftermath. We may not know how we survived the flames or how to pick up the pieces in the rubble, but we lived the flames and will rise from the ashes.
