Today was one of those days that didn’t come with a lot of flash or sparkle, but it was packed with the behind-the-scenes tasks that really matter.

I kicked things off by

Later, I created and delivered an event poster for I made for my Paint Night fundraiser for NOFCC to Starbucks. It’s exciting to see those little pieces of the vision coming together and finding their way into the community. NOFCC community fundraisers and private donations to fun their services and it's the effort of meaningful community fundraisers like my paint and sip event that can positively impact the lives of families with children with a idiopathic cancer who access one of the 22 services NOFCC provides for their families in Northern Ontario.

By the evening, I gave myself permission to slow down and rest. But before I did, I squeezed 25 minutes of public speaking practice . It might not sound like much, but it helped me feel sharper and more confident.

Sometimes it’s the slower days the ones filled with lists, logistics, and prioritizing rest—that set the stage for the big moments. And today definitely felt like one of those.

“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9
