Beaming with Love and Support
Today was one of those days that filled my heart to the brim.
It started with an interview at 104.9 MyFM with the lovely Emma Butler who, and what a gift it was to share not only my pageant journey, but the deeper meaning behind it. We talked about self-development, the courage to say yes to your dreams, and what it truly means to grow into the best version of yourself. I even shared something that’s stuck with me: “Don’t let your dreams stay dreams.”
Sometimes the hardest part is just saying yes, but stepping out of your comfort zone can lead you to the most beautiful, unexpected places.
I further was able to speak about my why and purpose for choosing Regional Canada Pageants and the work regional Canada does with their official charity NORTHERN ONTARIO FAMILIES OF CHILDREN WITH CANCER-NOFCC all. As well as my platform for connecting to my passion for Quilting by through Quilts of Valour.
After the interview, I headed to my Thursday night quilting class at the Algonquin Sewing Center in Petawawa—my absolute favorite way to spend an evening. It was Sew & Tell night, and these incredible women continue to amaze me with their talent, warmth, and joy. There’s something truly special about gathering in a space filled with creativity, connection, community, encouragement, and laughter. I always leave feeling inspired and grounded.
Here’s to doing the things that make your heart light up—and surrounding yourself with people who cheer you on every stitch of the way.
